SL Calibration Lock

With the launch of SL Calibration Lock, SensoLogic provides the first complete system for the specific protection of licensed or proprietary calibration models in SL database files (*.cpf). It is an ideal solution for the distribution of commercial calibration packages or the secure management of proprietary calibration models in large organizations.

The protection of calibrations is accomplished by programmable USB-dongles. Each user dongle is coded to release a customized selection of calibration packages (up to 231 per dongle, up to 65,000 in total). Remote upgrade capability makes it unnecessary to return dongles for reprogramming or to use more than a single dongle per computer.

Each calibration supplier can obtain his unique code. He uses a master dongle and a special Windows program for the encryption of individual calibration models in CPF database files. Both protected and unprotected calibrations can be stored side by side in the same database. In this way the user can combine protected calibrations with e. g. his own unprotected models in the same application using SL Predictor (or other programs with SL Application Development Kit).

SensoLogic also offers the encoding of calibration models as a service on request.
